Servokon manufactures high-performance Step Up and Step Down Transformers designed to efficiently increase or decrease voltage levels as required. The key difference between these transformers lies in the relationship between primary and secondary voltage. A step-up transformer increases voltage at the output side, whereas a step-down transformer reduces it.

The voltage transformation is determined by the turns ratio between the primary and secondary windings. These transformers can be easily integrated with single-phase systems such as 1 KVA units for various industrial and commercial applications.

High-quality insulation materials such as Mylar, Kraft paper, Nomex, and specialized varnishes are used between winding layers to ensure electrical safety and prevent short circuits. Working Principle:

These transformers consist of two or more coils of insulated wire wound around a laminated iron core. When voltage is applied to the primary winding, it creates a magnetic field in the core, which induces voltage in the secondary winding. The level of voltage change depends on the turns ratio between the coils.
