Application:

Typical industrial applications include food processing, packaging, refrigeration, furnaces and lighting. Fibre glass cables are extensively used in motors, transformers, lead wires and in areas where conventional PVC wires are not suitable.

With the ability to retain excellent dielectric properties even when burnt, these cables are flame retardant and self-extinguishing. They are also resistant to fungus, UV radiation, corona discharge, acids and manganese.

These cables are made using tinned copper stranded wires that are wound twice and overlapped with polyester films, then braided with fiberglass for enhanced strength and insulation.

Description:

1.1 KV grade, multistrand annealed tinned copper (ATC) conductor as per IS: 8130/1984 class-V, melinex taped, silicon rubber insulated type (IE-5) as per IS: 6380/1984 and overall fiber glass braided with silicon varnished rubber flexible cable suitable up to 200°C as per IS: 9968/Pt-l/1988.

Tinned copper stranded wires are wound twice in opposite directions and overlapped with polyester films, braided with fiberglass yarn and impregnated with high-quality thermosetting insulating varnish. These cables are flexible across temperature ranges from 70°C to 200°C and resist moisture, chemicals, flames, fungus, radiation, corona discharge, acids and ozone attack while maintaining excellent dielectric properties even when burnt.
