"Auracab" SECURITY HEAT PROOF Cables are intended primarily for applications in areas where there are crowds of people and limited escape routes such as high rise buildings, departmental stores, theaters, hotels, hospitals and public transportation systems.

These cables are also suitable for areas with high asset-value concentrations like power plants, industrial plants, computer centres and airports, as well as areas requiring high reliability such as control rooms, alarm systems and military installations.

TEFLON-PTFE CABLES

"Auracab" PTFE (Poly Tetra Fluoro Ethylene) is a highly resistant polymer widely used in power plants, industrial plants, computer centres, airports, high rise buildings, theaters, hospitals, control rooms, fire alarm systems and military applications. These cables are ideal for environments requiring resistance to extreme high and low temperatures, as well as chemical vapours and liquids. They offer a very long service life with minimal insulation thickness and excellent dielectric properties.

CHARACTERISTICS:

Dielectric Constant: 2.2 with range 0 Hz to 10⁹ Hz. Water Absorption: < 0.04%. Resistant to weather, ozone, acids, alkalis, solvents, synthetic liquids and oils.

Description:

Stranded high conductivity electrolytic grade annealed plain or nickel silver plated copper conductor, core insulated with fused and sintered PTFE (available in various working voltage grades like E-600V and EE-100 Volts). Other constructions are similar to PVC cables, but in these cables armouring is done using stainless steel wire mesh instead of round wire and flat strip.
