Compact Sub Station (CSS), also known as Packaged Sub Station (PSS), is a factory-built compact enclosure designed for efficient power distribution. It integrates Medium Voltage (MV) switchgear, transformer, and Low Voltage (LV) switchboard into a single unit, ensuring reliable transformation from medium voltage to low voltage systems.

The CSS consists of three separate compartments for MV switchgear, transformer, and LV switchboard, segregated by partitions to ensure maximum safety. Each compartment is accessible through lockable doors, providing secure operation and easy maintenance.

The entire substation is pre-assembled and tested at the factory, reducing installation time and cost at site. It is designed with high-quality components and engineered to meet safety and performance standards.
