A chiller is a machine that removes heat from a liquid — typically water — through a refrigeration cycle. This chilled water is then circulated through pipes to Fan Coil Units (FCUs), Air Handling Units (AHUs), or other terminal units installed across the building. These terminal units transfer the cooling from the chilled water to the room air — keeping every space at the desired temperature.
